Why do I need an access code?

Arcus spot (stock tokens) is open to everyone, but perps are gated. A wallet needs to be on Arcus's whitelist or redeem an invite code before it can trade perps.

Where do the codes come from?

Arcus gives traders one invite code for every $1M of lifetime perps volume. The codes the bot sends come from our own trading. Arcus has invite codes live on testnet and hasn't switched them on for mainnet yet; the bot watches for that and starts sending the moment they appear.

Who gets a code first?

Codes go out one per person in the order people pressed Start. If you link a wallet that already has perps access, the bot skips you so the code goes to someone who needs it.

What do I do with the code?

Open the Arcus app, connect your wallet and redeem the code where Arcus asks for an invite code. Codes are single use and six characters long. Redeeming one also registers you as a referral of the account that earned it, as Arcus's invite system does for every code.

What does the bot store?

Your Telegram chat ID, username and first name, the time you joined, and a wallet address only if you give one. Send /stop at any time to leave the queue.
